So I think I'm going to buy a Macbook

All about computers, video games and other forms of technology.

So I think I'm going to buy a Macbook

Postby Erika on Thu Aug 27, 2009 7:48 pm

My boyfriend is crazy anti-apple guy, but I really like the video editing programs that come with the macbook.

Should I do it? or is there a program that puts i-movie to shame for the PC? Windows movie maker can bite my ass, I hate it so much. :P

Yuck to Mac. My sister's boyfriend has a Mac, just a desktop and I hate using it any time I'm at their place in Calgary. Everything is fucking ass backwards.

I know there is a good program out there that Ask Me Makeup recommended to me. I think it's made by Sony and you can get it at Future Shop

personally an overpriced computer isn't worth a good movie editing program. imovie is awesome but i'm SURE there are programs out there for PC!

yeah i wouldn't put windows on a macbook. but the new os for mac seems pretty spiffy. i learned how to use a computer on a mac (my dad got one when i was in the 5th grade).

i don't mind the O/S but i'm so used to windows, that everything else feels like a hassle. i used a mac when i was in school and we did it for all our publishing software and image editing....and it was awesome....

i would use a mac book more for things like that. more photo editing, project making (i effing hate microsoft office programs!), video making. a work computer, not a fun computer.

i'm trying to learn more about the office programs but i find the courses i can take (mostly at work) are either super simple, like 5 mins of learning how to bold your text. or way too advanced. there's not intermediate levels, which is about where i sit.

and the new microsoft word? i got it on my laptop with visa and it's so stupid.

i love the new word, haha. it's so much more user friendly than the other versions, once you get used to it.

i also find that the new excel simplifies soooo much. no more thinking about formulas and tables and stuff....it does it all for you.
