but i ALWAYS love seeing hawksley perform

oh man that's a tough call.
probably when i saw crowned king with billy talent juno weekend a few years back (obvs the year the junos were in edmonton). the starlight room had lost their liquor license that weekend previous and were selling "after party" wrist bands to use up the booze. since they can't sell it, but they could give it away, and they could sell tix to a party where it's being given (does that make sense?)
anyway for $10/ea my good friend Moo and I got into this after party, got tottally sloshed, wached Crowned King and Billy Talent. then at the after party hung out with the bands (srsly small party, probably 50 ppl), simple plan showed up, and like a bunch of other canadian no-bodies. it rocked.
All because we showed up early and had some cash on us. LOL

That's a hard one...
I saw Satyricon earlier this year, it was an freakin' awesome show.

Other than that, I went to the Big Day Out festival in 2005 to see Slipknot, awesome show! It was brutal in the pit with the hot weather though.

I've been to lots of concerts, but probably the one on the top of my list is when I saw NKOTB last November. They put on such a good show that even people who weren't actually fans had a good time. And it was even better cuz I got to meet them and hug the Knight brothers. LOL

I haven't really been to many actual concerts, but I saw Neil Young with Death Cab opening for him, and it was pretty amazing. :)
